Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation
The Central Arkansas Sphinx Foundation (CASF), a 501(c)3 organization, was established in 2002 with the purpose of providing educational scholarships; improve community development, education, and literacy. The foundation has a special interest in addressing food security.
The Pathway to Food Security grant provides direct assistance to individuals and groups in and around Central Arkansas. This project will increase awareness of NRCS through workshops, demonstration projects, and social media. Also, it will assist individuals in requesting USDA assistance while increasing NRCS program participation.
The foundation builds raised beds for schools and community groups. Additionally, they partner with local experts to host workshops.
